IAMO delegation meets Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources

During the International Green Week 2018 in Berlin, Germany, IAMO scientists met with Otabek Mustafayev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan to discuss current and future collaboration opportunities. Along with IAMO Director Thomas Glauben and Deputy Head of Department of Agricultural Policy Martin Petrick, IAMO researchers Ihtiyor Bobojonov, Nodir Djanibekov, Lena Kuhn and IAMO Visiting Research Fellow Ulrich Koester participated in the discussion. The deputy minister assured the support of his department in the planning and execution of research projects. The current IAMO projects with Central Asia reference include AGRICHANGE and KlimALEZ.
