Project findings presented on Global Forum for Food and Agriculture

In the scope of an expert panel at the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture, Klimalez researchers presented project results for a discussion of implementation of digital innovations for risk management in agriculture. In her keynote, researcher Lena Kuhn presented in particular findings from a recent experimental study in Kyrgyzstan on the adoption of an index-based drought insurance.  Afterwards, a panel consisting of representatives from politics, research and business discussed the opportunities of new digital approaches for risk-management, potential challenges in their implementation and the role of government in supporting this process.
